Blackbird Original Seitan Shreds KBBQ Rice Bowl
Blackbird Foods Recipe
Serves 2
INGREDIENTS
1 pack 8oz Blackbird Original Shredded Seitan
1 cup white rice, cooked
2 tbsp Korean BBQ sauce
1/2 cup corn
1/2 cup small red peppers, thinly sliced
1/2 cup shredded purple cabbage
1 scallion, thinly sliced
1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
Sesame seeds and lime wedge for garnish (optional)
METHOD
Cook the rice
In a skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Add Blackbird Seitan Shreds and cook 3–4 minutes until lightly crisped. Stir in Korean BBQ sauce and coat evenly.
While the seitan cooks, slice the red peppers, shred the cabbage, and chop the scallions.
Divide rice between two bowls. Top each with seitan, corn, peppers, and cabbage. Sprinkle with scallions.
Drizzle a touch of sesame oil, sprinkle sesame seeds, and serve with a lime wedge if desired.
