BBQ Seitan Sliders

Blackbird Foods Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 1c thinly sliced Cabbage

  • 1/4c cubed Pineapple

  • 1 Jalapeno, minced

  • 1Tbsp chopped Green Onion

  • 1Tbsp hoped Cilantro

  • Juice from 1/2 Lime

  • 1/4c vegan Mayo

  • 1tsp White Vinegar

  • 1tsp Sugar

  • Salt and Pepper to taste

  • 1 box (7.5oz) of Blackbird Texas BBQ Seitan

METHOD

  1. Combine cabbage, pineapple, jalapeño, green onion, cilantro, lime juice, mayo, vinegar, sugar, and salt and pepper, mix well and place in the fridge

  2. Sauté 1 package Blackbird Texas BBQ Seitan in oil and toss with BBQ sauce of your choice

  3. Toast slider buns in vegan butter, plate with coleslaw down first, then seitan, and serve!
