Seitan Spring Rolls

Makes 12 Spring Rolls

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Box (8 oz) Blackbird Chili Lime or Original Seitan, chopped

  • 1 cup Cabbage, shredded

  • ¼ cup Carrot, shredded

  • 2 sliced Green Onions

  • 1 tsp Ginger, grated

  • 1 tsp Garlic, grated

  • 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce

  • 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil

  • Salt and Pepper to taste 

  • 22cm round Rice Paper

  • Optional: Soy Sauce to dip

METHOD

  1. Combine all ingredients (except rice paper) and mix well 

  2. To Assemble: Submerge a piece of rice paper in water for 5 seconds or until elastic. Then place on a dry surface and add filling, about 1 inch up from the bottom. Fold the bottom over, and then the sides, then roll until all rice paper is wrapped around the filling. 

  3. Continue this process until all of the filling is gone

  4. Spray spring rolls lightly with non-stick oil and cook in the air fryer at 350 for 5 minutes on each side. 

  5. Serve immediately with soy sauce
