Blackbird Chili Lime Seitan Nachos

Blackbird Foods Recipe

Serves 3-4

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pack 8oz Blackbird Chili Lime Shredded Seitan

  • 1 bag tortilla chips

  • 1/2 - 3/4 cup vegan queso (We like Credo Oat Milk Queso Blanco)

  • 1 avocado, diced

  • 1/2 tomato, diced

  • 1 cup crisp lettuce, chopped

  • Optional: lime wedges, vegan sour cream, salsa

METHOD

  1. Spread tortilla chips on a baking tray and bake for 5-7 minutes at 350 F. Remove from oven and sprinkle with salt.

  2. While chips are in the oven, pan-fry Blackbird Chili Lime Seitan Shreds in a skillet over medium heat with light oil for 3–4 minutes until slightly crisped.

  3. Assemble the nachos with pan-fried seitan, vegan queso, avocado, tomato, and lettuce.

  4. Enjoy!
