Fresh Chili Lime Seitan Nachos
Blackbird Foods Recipe
Serves 3-4
INGREDIENTS
1 pack 8oz Blackbird Chili Lime Shredded Seitan
1 bag tortilla chips
1/2 - 3/4 cup vegan queso (We like Credo Oat Milk Queso Blanco)
1 avocado, diced
1/2 tomato, diced
1 cup crisp lettuce, chopped
Optional: lime wedges, vegan sour cream, salsa
METHOD
Spread tortilla chips on a baking tray and bake for 5-7 minutes at 350 F. Remove from oven and sprinkle with salt.
While chips are in the oven, pan-fry Blackbird Chili Lime Seitan Shreds in a skillet over medium heat with light oil for 3–4 minutes until slightly crisped.
Assemble the nachos with pan-fried seitan, vegan queso, avocado, tomato, and lettuce.
